Cooking Classes are Coming Soon!

We’re excited to launch Cooking Classes aimed at teaching basic meal preparation skills to individuals and families in our community. These hands-on workshops will cover everything from meal planning and budgeting to preparing healthy, affordable meals for school lunches, after-school snacks, and family dinners.

Participants will learn:

  • How to prepare simple, nutritious meals
  • Smart grocery shopping and meal planning on a budget
  • Tips for making healthy food choices for the whole family

Classes will include all materials, food, recipes, and instruction. Stay tuned for details on how to register — we can’t wait to cook with you!

Community Gardens

Our 28 raised and ground garden beds provide a steady supply of fresh, healthy vegetables for our emergency food hampers, helping to increase their nutritional value and variety. But our gardens offer more than just food — they’re a space for hands-on learning, skill-building, and community connection.

The gardens give elementary school children a chance to learn where food comes from and develop a deeper understanding of healthy eating. They also serve as a valuable opportunity for individuals of all ages to gain new skills and knowledge around gardening and nutrition.

You can support this growing initiative by choosing to sponsor a garden bed for $50 per season. Your sponsorship helps cover the cost of seeds, bedding plants, soil amendments, and also supports summer student employment and job readiness.
