Helpline Inc/The Oromocto Food Bank is a charitable organization that has been serving the greater Oromocto and outlying areas since 1987.

“The Oromocto Food Bank is a compassionate, inclusive, accessible organization that changes the lives of individuals and families.”

In support of our mission we believe:

  • All people seeking our help should be treated with compassion, dignity and understanding
  • Our clients deserve the highest quality foods that are possible for us to provide
  • The spirit of community and volunteerism is our strength and our primary resource
  • And, we are accountable to our community for the programs and services we deliver

We believe healthy food builds healthy communities. Our food bank provides fresh, nutritious, and non-perishable items in monthly hampers for those facing food insecurity. This is possible through our partnerships, programs, volunteers and staff.
